If you want to reserve a room or bed less than 48 hours before you plan to arrive in Victoria, it's better to us call toll-free 1-888-888-4180 to make a reservation.

This is a reservation request form only. You will receive a confirmation email from us within 36 hours. Your reservation is not guaranteed until you receive this confirmation.

The farther in advance you book, the better chance you have of getting the room or bed you want, especially May to October and every Saturday.

Please note that we require a valid, government-issued photo ID for check in.

Before you Begin: If you haven’t already, please visit our room details section in order to choose the room type that best suits you. Be sure to pick a second and third choice as well, as we cannot guarantee availability of all the rooms. If you have booked a suite at the Ocean Island Suites location and want a specific suite then please let us know your choice in the comment box of the “other information section” below.

No-Show Policy: If you do not arrive by the latest check-in time that you have given us, your reservation will be cancelled and your credit card will be charged for one night's stay. You can call us any time to change your latest check-in time if you think that you are going to arrive later.

If you want to book a room or bed on a Saturday and some holidays between May 12th and October 13th, your reservation must be for more than one night.

Please make sure that you enter your credit card number correctly and that it's a valid card that's not expired or maxed out. We will check the number, and if it's not valid we won't be able to process your reservation.

On your arrival date, your credit card will be pre-authorized for one night's room and tax. Ocean Island Backpackers' Inn will cancel reservations with declined credit cards.

In order to complete your reservation, you must check the box below. First, we recommend that you review what you've entered on this page to make sure it's correct, and make sure that you understand the terms of making a reservation with us.

Please note:

Cancellation Policy: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. This means that you must let us know before 18:00 the day before your arrival if you need to cancel, otherwise you will be charged for one night. If your reservation is for the Ocean Island Suites, and is for four nights or more, a 14-day cancellation policy applies. This means that you must let us know before 18:00 (6pm) 14 days before your arrival if you need to cancel, otherwise you will be charged for one night. If your reservation is for the Ocean Island Suites, and is for three nights or fewer, the 24-hour cancellation policy mentioned above applies.
Please note that guests staying at the Ocean Island Suites MUST check-in at our Front Desk located at 791 Pandora Avenue.

No-Show Policy: If you do not arrive by the latest check-in time that you have given us, your reservation will be cancelled and your credit card will be charged for one night's stay. You can call us any time to change your latest check-in time if you think that you are going to arrive later.

Early Check Out policy: once you have checked in, there is no refund for 3-night, weekly, two-week and monthly rates. For daily rates, there is a 50% refund for every day following, but not including, the day on which we are informed (by 6pm) that you are leaving.
