    Important Reservation Information: Read This First!

    If you want to reserve a room or bed less than 48 hours before you plan to arrive in Victoria, it's better to us call toll-free 1-888-888-4180 to make a reservation.

    This is a reservation request form only. You will receive a confirmation email from us within 24-36 hours. Your reservation is not guaranteed until you receive this confirmation.

    A credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. Your card will not be charged at this time. Your credit card info never leaves our secure server, from the time you fill this form out to the time we retrieve the info and process your reservation. Your credit card information doesn't go through e-mail, it doesn't go over the phone - this is the most secure way to get a room!

    Please note that we require a valid, government-issued photo ID for check in.

Before you Begin: Please visit our Rooms and Rates section in order to choose the room type of room you prefer. If you don’t have time to visit the section, please be aware that some of our rooms are very small and may not have ensuite bathrooms.

Be sure to pick a second and third choice as well, as we cannot guarantee availability of all the rooms.

If your reservation is for a Saturday or some holidays between mid-May and mid-October, it may need to be for more than one night. We will let you know if this is the case.

No-Show Policy: If you do not arrive by the latest check-in time that you have given us, your reservation will be cancelled and your credit card will be charged for one night's stay. You can call us any time to change your latest check-in time if you think that you are going to arrive later.

Your credit card is to guarantee the reservation only. Your card will not be charged at this time. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit, Travellers Cheques or cash as payment upon your arrival.

Please make sure that you enter your credit card number correctly and that it's a valid card that's not expired or maxed out. We will check the number, and if it's not valid we won't be able to process your reservation.

On your arrival date, your credit card will be pre-authorized for one night's room and tax. Ocean Island Inn | Backpackers | Suites will cancel reservations with declined credit cards.

Please note that guests staying at the Ocean Island Suites MUST check-in at our Front Desk located at 791 Pandora Avenue. We offer a complimentary 7-minute taxi ride for guests staying at our Suites.

Reservation Policies

Please note that we require a valid, government-issued photo ID for check in.

Ocean Island Inn Cancellation Policy: We have a 1-day cancellation policy. This means that you must let us know before 18:00 the day before your arrival if you need to cancel, otherwise you will be charged for one night.

Ocean Island Suites Cancellation Policy:If your reservation is for the Ocean Island Suites, and is for four nights or more, a 14-day cancellation policy applies. This means that you must let us know before 18:00 (6pm) 14 days before your arrival if you need to cancel, otherwise you will be charged for one night. If your reservation is for the Ocean Island Suites, and is for three nights or fewer, the 24-hour cancellation policy mentioned above applies.

Please note that guests staying at the Ocean Island Suites MUST check-in at our Front Desk located at 791 Pandora Avenue.

Early Check Out policy: once you have checked in, there is no refund for weekly, two-week and monthly rates. For daily rates, there is a 50% refund for every day following, but not including, the day on which we are informed (by 6pm) that you are leaving.
