Pizza Joints & Other Quick & Cheap Eats

There's actually several decent options for quick, cheap and late eating in Victoria.

We've organized them in order of value for your cash.

If you want something other than pizza or pitas, check out the many downtown convenience stores!

$1.25 Pizza

Pizza Stop

This place used to be really good pizza, about as healthy as it's possible to make, for cheaper than Second Slice. That's when these pictures were taken. The guy on the left is seasoning eggplant slices to put on top of their veggie pizza. Now their veggie pizza is this dismal feta-sloshed thing. It changed owners and now it's not really any better than Second Slice, and it's the same price. So now this is the place to go if Second Slice has too much of a line-up.

On Yates, between Douglas and Broad. Check out Pizza Stop on Google Maps!

Ghetto Slice (second slice, dollar slice etc)

OK, you can go with the "good" pizza places on this page and spend $3 or more on a slice of pizza, or you can go slumming and spend $3 for three slices of pizza! There's a few places like these:

1310 Douglas (google directions link) and 1680 Douglas (google directions link) and this new one on Yates between Douglas and Broad. It's the cheapest. They're all open 'til like 2 or 3 in the morning.

Ali Baba’s

They’ve been voted Best Pizza in Victoria, and offer some great pizzas if you’re looking for a change from the norm. Huge slices for $4. They have many locations around town but the nearest one is on Fort Street.

Pacific Rim Pizza

Another of Victoria’s big slice outlets, and a common after-bar spot. Now with two locations!

Pita Pit

A perfect post-night-of-drinking-at-the-bar, pre-stumble-back-home venue, the Pita Pit is just what you need when you're famished at 2am. Big, well-wrapped pitas filled with your choice of veggies and/or meat. Baba ghanouj, tzatziki, grilled chicken breast… good stuff. Pitas are becoming the new after-bar routine in Victoria.
