Starting in Victoria, this scenic route travels the back roads to Saanich, where it slices through the urban setting of View Royal, Langford, and Colwood. Dip back into the beautiful forest and surround yourself in ferns, shrubs, creeks, and rock outcrops. As you reach Metchosin, the trail moves past small farms surrounded by hills that transform into steep, rocky slopes making for the most beautiful photo opportunities to commemorate your trip to Victoria! This bike ride can be a multi-day trip, or a few hours- whatever suits your schedule.
Dallas Road is well known for being the most scenic drive in Victoria, and a bike is a great way to experience it! Follow the ocean the entire way, and this ride is about 40 minutes/11 km with no stops. From the inn you cross the Johnson Street Bridge, make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf, where Dallas Road starts, and spend ome time checking out the vibrantly painted floating homes and restaurants in Fisherman’s Wharf. Other stops include Ogden Point, Beacon Hill Park, Clover Point, and the Olympic Mountains; you might even spot a seal!
